Today...Do What You Have To Do

This is for all of you who are 'doing what you have to do' I'm cheering you on - pursue your passion! Have you ever had someone close to you tell you what you're doing is crazy, impractical or won't work?  I've been there.  What do you do when your family, friends, spouse or significant other tells you you're going to fail? Let's be honest - that stings, and that can sometimes cut so deep that it makes us doubt ourselves. 

I'm here to tell you that you're worth the pursuit. You were given talents and gifts that are unique to you - and you're the only one who knows the dream God put on your heart. Listen to that whisper. Be courageous. Be bold.

Why is it that even though we know 'sales' are the lifeblood of every business, we still procrastinate calling our prospects?

Let's talk about what's holding you back...I hear most people say:

1. What if they say I'm being too pushy?

2. What if they ask me a question I don't know the answer to?

3. What if they tell me "no"?

4. What if I don't know all the "right" answers?

Did you know people say they don't mind that they get a follow up call from a salesperson, as long as they are professional?  Most people are too busy juggling their lives so returing your phone call, email or text is not top of mind.
