"Yesterday I was clever, so I want to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself." -Rumi
As I read this quote I reflect on how many times in the past I tried to change others, when in reality, the only one we have the control to change is ourselves. If you find yourself stressed, frustrated, and irritated with others - STOP what you are doing and take the time to reflect. What do you need to change about yourself, your actions, your words, your integrity that would remove the stress, frustration and irritation you're causing in your relationships?
To Your Success,
Meet Micah Herndon who finished the Boston Marathon last weekend...his legs gave out and he crawled across the finish line. What I love about his story is he served our country in the Marines, where he lost three of his buddies, and every time he wanted to quit, he kept repeating their names over and over. He runs to honor them and their families because he's here and they aren't.
What an inspiration to never quit, and showing all of us how he honors his fallen, fellow Marines. #NoExcuses #SemperFi
Don't give up - take one more step towards your goal...even if you have to crawl!
To Your Success,
Have you ever tried something new, felt excited with anticipation about the possibilities, but your self-doubt takes over? The negative chatter in your head holds you back from believing you're worthy of something great. How do you bust out of your negative beliefs? First, know that what you're about to do is going to stretch you.
Taking risks is a part of life, part of growth and part of what shapes you. Imagine you're an architect, and your life is your dream home. Your home needs a solid foundation to build on - starting with self-love. When you have built your self-esteem, that gives you the confidence to be kind and love others.
What kind of life do you want to build? A life of exhilarating, memorable moments, or a life of regret because you let fear into your dream home? The next time you feel doubt creep in, recognize it, look it right in the eye, and take the risk to do something extraordinary!
This is for all of you who are 'doing what you have to do' I'm cheering you on - pursue your passion! Have you ever had someone close to you tell you what you're doing is crazy, impractical or won't work? I've been there. What do you do when your family, friends, spouse or significant other tells you you're going to fail? Let's be honest - that stings, and that can sometimes cut so deep that it makes us doubt ourselves.
I'm here to tell you that you're worth the pursuit. You were given talents and gifts that are unique to you - and you're the only one who knows the dream God put on your heart. Listen to that whisper. Be courageous. Be bold.
Cheers to your pursuit,
Just a reminder as you're working so diligently on your business, and juggling life...make sure you put your oxygen mask on first by taking care of you (spiritually, emotionally & physically), so that your cup will be full enough to keep pouring into your family, friends and clients.
Serve & bless others with your talents,
Kristi & Dave
Why is it that even though we know 'sales' are the lifeblood of every business, we still procrastinate calling our prospects?
Let's talk about what's holding you back...I hear most people say:
1. What if they say I'm being too pushy?
2. What if they ask me a question I don't know the answer to?
3. What if they tell me "no"?
4. What if I don't know all the "right" answers?
Did you know people say they don't mind that they get a follow up call from a salesperson, as long as they are professional? Most people are too busy juggling their lives so returing your phone call, email or text is not top of mind. Today, step forward in courage knowing that your product or service is worthwhile and will have a positive impact on your prospect's life. Go on...you can do it!
